High Society Recap Episode 8: Season Finale

screencaps by Word-vomiting

The most drama ever in an episode of High Society. There's drama in almost every scene and Tinsley is rolling in laughter half the time. I absolutely love the bitchy side of her.

15 TV Characters We Love to Hate

From the sweetest bitch you'll ever meet to a sucky, sucky person, these are the top 15 TV characters we'd love to see impaled.

Seriously, every single individual on the list reminds me of something sticky on the bottom of my shoe that I just want to scrape off.

Written by Jefry and Joshua. We usually have a discussion before writing so I guess this applies for most entries.

High Society Episode 6 Recap

I declare episode six of High Society the hottest episode to date. Every scene involves someone quarreling (if you exclude one scene of Tinsley of course) and drinks are thrown, which I really like seeing.

High Society Episode 5 Recap

All screencaps by Word-vomiting

I really wanted to do a recap but I only managed to download it today so it's kinda old news I guess. But nevertheless, there's still lots of crazy eyes, backstabbing and fakeness in your face.

The Hills Season 6 Trailer

Uber fierce trailer for The Hills, which includes my favourite scene ever of heidi and lauren fighting. (WHAT DID I DO? YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID! YOU'RE A BAD PERSON!)

I really can't wait for all the wide eyed-ness coming on the 27th of April. And of course, it's The Hills and The City on the same day.

Ikr. Can you handle it?

High Society Episode 1 Recap

Totally did not expect this hiatus, citing usual reasons, kkkinda busy etc. But now that there are more dumb, bitchy shows to watch, there can be more updates.

All screencaps by wordvomiting

It's similar to The Hills seems kinda scripted and has some really hot characters. Featuring Tinsley Mortimer and some party people. And obviously the main reason for the show is to feature Tinsley as a glamorous party goer, but she is human and has feelings/her own problems etc. Original? Yes. Very original.

Despite poor ratings, it is really entertaining and I pray to the high heavens that it won't get canceled!

'Desperate Housewives' Recap: Therapeutic Activity

Desperate Housewives Season 6 Episode 13: How About A Friendly Shrink
source ABC

I have nothing much to say except last night's episode of Desperate Housewives confirms the series' return to form. In common with many, I have tolerated a somewhat patchy and slow season 5 but my patience seems to have paid off. Bree is miserable, like she was in the first 2 seasons, providing the comedy highlight of the episode.

Spoilers ahead.

Simon Cowell's Replacement

source

By now most of you must have heard about Simon's Cowell's departure from hit TV karaoke-show American Idol. While some viewers are hung up on the news (believe it or not some fans are still mourning the loss of Paula Abdul), I'm excited about the possibilities for the upcoming season - who shall replace the mean British judge.

I'd like to nominate a larger-than-life entertainer who I believe will be a great addition to the show.

No, I'm not talking about half-naked Jesus Luz with the blue eyes and thoroughly tanned bod. Look at the lady instead. Now, I know you can almost see peen, but look at the lady. Yes, it's Madonna.
source

Madonna is a pop icon, and has entertained the world for more than three decades (damn!), surely she knows a thing or two about the music industry and artistry. The woman is outspoken and fearless, and has continuously re-invent the pop scene with provocative images and lyrics with sexual connotations. Besides, she's shown a nurturing side despite a cold exterior she usually displays in public.

What do you think about Madonna replacing Simon Cowell on the show? Are you thrilled that Simon is leaving? And were you entertained by this joker?

'Desperate Housewives' Recap: Strip Tease

Desperate Housewives Season 6 Episode 12: You Gotta Get a Gimmick
source ABC

After a gimmicky attempt to increase viewership (a plane crashed on Wisteria Lane, y'all), I'm glad to say that this week's episode of Desperate Housewives is free from the flashbacks/flashforwards bullshit the writers keep shoving down our throats last season.

ANTM: Hawaiian Hip-Hop

America's Next Top Model Cycle 13: Hawaiian Hip-Hop
source LA Times

This episode is kinda boring if you're expecting girl drama and all. But if you're like me, and you like watching the girls dance, then you're in for a treat. I really loved the challenge, where the girls did the Hawaiian hulu-hip-hop, and of course since they're not really dancers, it was fall-off-your-seat funny.

The City: Friends and Foe-Workers

source MTV

Drama ensues in The City, and another city. The girls are, coincidentally, all sent to Miami Fashion Week. The star for this episode has to be Kelly. It's like she ate five children and she's still hungry.

'Desperate Housewives' Recap: The Grudge

Desperate Housewives Season 6 Episode 7: Careful The Things You Say
source ABC

Desperate Housewives is one of Word-Vomiting's favourite shows, and we feel that this week's episode is kind of underwhelming, considering the fantastic episodes we've been getting this season. We do, however, learn that Angie is a great cook, and she's taking Katherine's old job. How very Italian of her.

'ANTM' Recap: Free-diving

America's Next Top Model Cycle 13: Dive Deeper
source LA Times

I really am a sucker for reality television, mainly because of the fact that I take great delight in the misfortunes of others. Hence, imagine the look on my face when Sundai vaguely mentions she grew up in foster care. She promises to share the full story of her plight if she makes it to the top 4. It's probably a very juicy story as she mentions, "Get tissues." Cue sad music. Cue close-ups of Sundai's face. And then the camera cut to her sucking her thumb like a vulnerable little girl. We are only 3 minutes into the episode and emotions are already blowing out of proportions.

The Hills: I'm Done With You

Seriously, how many times have we heard "I'm done with you!" or "I can't do this anymore!" from Audrina.

source MTV

In this episode, there are many of those classic bitching scenes which are so typical of The Hills.

Project Runway: The Best of The Best

Design by Logan
source Lifetime

I just watched Project Runway and I'm crying and shaking. How could they?! I see a little Karl Lagerfeld in that dress, so how can that be a bad thing?! I'm so emotional i can't even talk about the drama in the episode.

The Hills Recap: Sorry Boo, Strike Two

I'm writing a recap on Halloween because it's raining really heavily and i can't give out candy to kids, and i don't have plans too, so here I am.

The Hills this week was made interesting by my one of new favourites, Holly Montag. But before we focus on my new favourite characters (yes, there's more than one), we have to give some attention to the ones I hate.

'ANTM' Recap: Body Painting

America's Next Top Model Cycle 13: Let's Go Surfing
source LA Times

On this week's episode of ANTM, the girls come home to a crime scene.

The City Recap: Hit It and Quit It

Olivia meets Roxy and Erin hates Olivia. Anything new?

'Desperate Housewives' Recap: Don't Judge Me

Desperate Housewives Season 6 Episode 5: Everybody Ought to Have a Maid
source ABC

The theme of this week's episode is judgment, as Mary Alice observes, "It is in our nature to judge the people around us." I couldn't help but agree with my favorite suicidal narrator. Just this afternoon, I was making judgments about the obese family I'm staying with in Sydney. Mary Alice continues to share her wisdom with tv viewers, "We make these judgments all the time, never thinking that one day we may be judged ourselves," which is true as I will never know what my overweight tenants think about me for waking up at 3 p.m. I was busy writing Ugly Betty recap last night..
