Trend Alert: Scram Bracelet

Trendy since 2007

I mean, seriously. Just looking at Lindsay's new scram bracelet makes me want to put a black Casio watch around my ankle.

Future Chanel Collaboration

Chanel should help a gal out! If Chanel can make stuff like basketballs and dumbbells, they should make stickers or maybe even an interchangeable strap for the scram bracelet!

Something like that would be great for Lindsay. You know, cause living in sin is the new thing.

Sex and The City 2: Reviews

Carrie: Oh my God you gals. Have you seen the bad reviews we've been receiving?
Miranda: Can we not Carrie, I have to meet Steve on the Brooklyn Bridge.
Samantha: Honey, you have to let it go. If I worried what every bitch in New York was saying about me, I'd never leave the house.
Charlotte: My vagina's depressed!

By now, it's common knowledge that Sex and The City 2 is greeted with universal derision (the movie scores a pathetic 16% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes) but as any reality tv star would do, we choose to surround ourselves with positive energy. So we've collected some positive excerpts from a sea of brutal negativity, and trust me it's like looking for a needle in a haystack.

High Society Recap Episode 8: Season Finale

screencaps by Word-vomiting

The most drama ever in an episode of High Society. There's drama in almost every scene and Tinsley is rolling in laughter half the time. I absolutely love the bitchy side of her.

15 TV Characters We Love to Hate

From the sweetest bitch you'll ever meet to a sucky, sucky person, these are the top 15 TV characters we'd love to see impaled.

Seriously, every single individual on the list reminds me of something sticky on the bottom of my shoe that I just want to scrape off.

Written by Jefry and Joshua. We usually have a discussion before writing so I guess this applies for most entries.

High Society Episode 6 Recap

I declare episode six of High Society the hottest episode to date. Every scene involves someone quarreling (if you exclude one scene of Tinsley of course) and drinks are thrown, which I really like seeing.

Hating Behind A Screen

Because we're such haters (we even listen to the Hater Podcast every week), we're here to hate on stuff. Behind a screen. (Jefry thought of the topic)

This is the internet, how else am I supposed to hate?

Firstly Glee.

Yes, it's not too bad of a TV show, but it's too overrated. Everytime someone tells me how much they love Glee, I vomit a little in my mouth. Then I word vomit. Or keep quiet because you're not supposed to hate that much in real life.

But think about it: If there weren't any of those catchy tunes, would you still watch the show?

Too much of the story focuses on Mr Schuster. The lame story line about his wife Terri faking pregnancy and him falling in love with Emma has to get the fuck out.

And isn't the series supposed to be about the Glee Club? Singing a few songs together every episode does not make a story ok?

And can we just look at this:

If you follow Lady Gaga on twitter, you should find her really annoying. Almost 90% of her updates are on how much she loves her little monsters(fans) and how she wants to liberate them with her music.

I always think, how do you liberate people with her music? Or, how do you liberate people with music?! I know it's great she appreciates her fans, but updating almost everyday about it? You make me speechless, so speechless.

And she used a permanent marker to draw on a Birkin. I think I almost fainted.

P.S: i like watching glee and i know all the words to lady gaga songs. But I don't have to hear about them everyday. I need to liberate myself in that way.

Disney Mean Girls

It's not new to say that Mean Girls is my favourite movie of all time. Favourite meaning I could never get bored of it. And this disney version is equally good.

Starring Ariel as Cady Heron, Aurora as Regina George, Belle as Gretchen Wieners, Cinderella as Karen Smith, Jasmine as Janis Ian, Aladdin as Damien and MULAN AS THE COOL ASIAN!

High Society Episode 5 Recap

All screencaps by Word-vomiting

I really wanted to do a recap but I only managed to download it today so it's kinda old news I guess. But nevertheless, there's still lots of crazy eyes, backstabbing and fakeness in your face.

Love in Thoughts

I thought Was n├╝tzt die Liebe in Gedanken (Love in Thoughts) had such beautiful cinematography so i took some screencaps of my favourite scenes.

Love is the only reason for which we are willing to die.
Love is the only reason for which we would be willing to kill.
Therefore, we swear to end our lives once we no longer feel any love.
And we will take all those along who robbed us of our love.

The Blake Wright

Here are some works from one of my favourite artist, Blake Wright.

His work is full of sexual humour and i guess his style is kinda simple? idk, i'm not a very artsy person. The amazing thing is, it won't be really difficult for someone to draw like that, but it's the humour and intelligence behind these drawings that make them so special.

The Hills Season 6 Trailer

Uber fierce trailer for The Hills, which includes my favourite scene ever of heidi and lauren fighting. (WHAT DID I DO? YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID! YOU'RE A BAD PERSON!)

I really can't wait for all the wide eyed-ness coming on the 27th of April. And of course, it's The Hills and The City on the same day.

Ikr. Can you handle it?

kinda fierce paparazzi style picture of jefry and me at Universal Studios. my legs look fabulous here lol.

High Society Episode 1 Recap

Totally did not expect this hiatus, citing usual reasons, kkkinda busy etc. But now that there are more dumb, bitchy shows to watch, there can be more updates.

All screencaps by wordvomiting

It's similar to The Hills seems kinda scripted and has some really hot characters. Featuring Tinsley Mortimer and some party people. And obviously the main reason for the show is to feature Tinsley as a glamorous party goer, but she is human and has feelings/her own problems etc. Original? Yes. Very original.

Despite poor ratings, it is really entertaining and I pray to the high heavens that it won't get canceled!

'Desperate Housewives' Recap: Therapeutic Activity

Desperate Housewives Season 6 Episode 13: How About A Friendly Shrink
source ABC

I have nothing much to say except last night's episode of Desperate Housewives confirms the series' return to form. In common with many, I have tolerated a somewhat patchy and slow season 5 but my patience seems to have paid off. Bree is miserable, like she was in the first 2 seasons, providing the comedy highlight of the episode.

Spoilers ahead.

Simon Cowell's Replacement

By now most of you must have heard about Simon's Cowell's departure from hit TV karaoke-show American Idol. While some viewers are hung up on the news (believe it or not some fans are still mourning the loss of Paula Abdul), I'm excited about the possibilities for the upcoming season - who shall replace the mean British judge.

I'd like to nominate a larger-than-life entertainer who I believe will be a great addition to the show.

No, I'm not talking about half-naked Jesus Luz with the blue eyes and thoroughly tanned bod. Look at the lady instead. Now, I know you can almost see peen, but look at the lady. Yes, it's Madonna.

Madonna is a pop icon, and has entertained the world for more than three decades (damn!), surely she knows a thing or two about the music industry and artistry. The woman is outspoken and fearless, and has continuously re-invent the pop scene with provocative images and lyrics with sexual connotations. Besides, she's shown a nurturing side despite a cold exterior she usually displays in public.

What do you think about Madonna replacing Simon Cowell on the show? Are you thrilled that Simon is leaving? And were you entertained by this joker?

I can't wait to spray on an insane amount of this at Sephora lol.

Movie Review: "The Princess and the Frog"

Jefry: I went to see The Princess and The Frog earlier. I understand that this review is long overdue, but I'm not not wasting my $10.50.
Joshua: Fine. How was the movie?
Jefry: It was fine. I felt judged by the movie counter girl though, she was giving me this look. But I can't help it that I love Disney Princess movies.

Joshua: Actually, i watched it a couple of weeks ago. I thought it was underwhelming, you know, considering the quality of older disney classics.
Jefry: Sure, the film lacks the catchy musical numbers like The Little Mermaid's Part of Your World and Enchanted's That's How You Know, but I'll give it credit for using classic hand-drawn animations. We're constantly bombarded by computer-animated features, and honestly I'm getting a little sick of them.

Joshua: Are there any highlights from the film you'd like to mention?
Jefry: Yeah, I was extremely entertained by the love-stricken firefly Ray. He definitely steals the show for me. Also, how romantic is that dancing-on-the-lake scene. It reminds me of the love-boat scene in The Little Mermaid, where Ariel is trying to tell Prince Eric her name. Ooh, I'm basically having Disney Princess orgasm right now.

Joshua: Please sum up the movie in a sentence.
Jefry: It's a throwback to Disney's earlier works, it's not quite there yet but it sure is entertaining.
Joshua: What would you score the film out of 10?
Jefry: 8, just because it doesn't rely on 3-D gimmick and mindless actions. I really liked it, the children in the audience seemed to love it, but it could use an improvement in the music department. I'm just a geek for 2-D animations.

Editor's note: This conversation is fictional, duh. Who the fuck speaks like that in real life?!

'Desperate Housewives' Recap: Strip Tease

Desperate Housewives Season 6 Episode 12: You Gotta Get a Gimmick
source ABC

After a gimmicky attempt to increase viewership (a plane crashed on Wisteria Lane, y'all), I'm glad to say that this week's episode of Desperate Housewives is free from the flashbacks/flashforwards bullshit the writers keep shoving down our throats last season.

Gaga and Balenciaga

I think I'm getting better with titles cause the title totally rhymes. Other news: happy new year and I'd be back blogging again.

Barbie in outfits Lady Gaga have worn before.
source The Pipeline

I guess the bitch, Barbie, is getting lots of work lately. Is it really sad that I can recognize or remember Gaga wearing all those outfits? I see some from the Bad Romance video, that paparazzi performance etc.

Balenciaga Spring 2010

lol what is this? I don't hate it (it's balenciaga! you don't hate balenciaga) but I guess you could say it's different from what you normally see in term of ad campaigns.
